Lovelife: Day 3 Honk and We Will Dance

Ever wondered how it is like when someone out of a sudden does some random stuff and cheered you up?

ever thought of doing something crazy to make people laugh?

Hey peeps!!! i am back home in Malaysia right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, i will still try to update as often as possible although the internet is quite slow.

Anyway, coming back to our Lovelife challenge day 3. This time we did a collaboration with YourMahder Productions to show some love to the people of WA! Basically, we did up some signs that says..... "HONK AND WE WILL DANCE" to cheer the motorists up on a gloomy monday.

We got the inspiration from Jaeson Ma himself, so we thought why dont we create a similar version of our honk and we will dance in Perth, WA. so, on monday (14th of June), a few of us (Me, Steph Tay, Ralphael, Kelvin, Joanna and Justina) went down to south street and started holding up the signs telling people that they are loved and cheer up!

Basically the whole campaign was a successful one as many of the motorists that stopped at the traffic light saw our sign boards, honk and got a great laugh out of our very COOL dance moves! at the end of day, its not really so much about us having fun or coz we have too many time on our hands. but its about glorifying God and showing other people some love by making them laugh.

Lesson of the day: Love is about putting it into action and humbling ourselves down. as i reflect on the challenge, i myself was challenged to come out even more of my comfort zone and having faith that GOD cares more about us glorifying HIS name and shining HIS love rather than our very own comfort.

Lovelife: Day 1 Dishes

Have you ever got annoyed by the dishes that your housemates/ your family/ your friends leave around after a meal?

and sometimes you cant stand it especially its been there for several days and yet they are still not cleaning it away?

I live with my sis in Perth and sometimes when i get home i see dishes like this lying around the kitchen table and no one bothers to lift a finger to clean it up.

(sometimes i'm the one leaving it around^^)

anyway, today while i was preparing lunch, i decided that since i am very much inspired by Jaeson Ma to do a random act of love, why not i help my sis to wash the dishes???

so in the end, i decided to help my sister to wash all her dishes and try to practice love just like how Jesus did. By putting other people first, humble down ourselves. at first, i felt as if i am a slave, but i decided to push on and cleaned everything!

at the end of the day, i felt really happy and my sis is happy when she got home and saw those cleaned dishes!

Lesson learned: Sometimes, its not just aout helping people. but its about helping yourself and a little act of kindness brightens up someones day and keeps their smile on their face.^^

Lovelife: dedication

Hey everyone! its been soooo long since i updated this blog and today it shall be the official REVIVAL of this once dreadful looking- boring- dead blog!

anyway, recently i was very very much inspired by a Pastor known as Jaeson Ma. So, that is why i decided to revive this blog and dedicate it to GOD and to all the readers out there.

Basically, what am i going to post about? its gonna be about LOVE! hah! thts why the topic is lovelife. anyway..... i've chosen lovelife because this will record my journey of trying to learn from God and how has HIS love impacted so many people in this world.

Chap 4:13 of 1 Corinthians speaks about love and how love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

so, what i will be doing is to try to learn from these principles and applying it onto my life. For example, everyday or everytime i will try to do a random act of kindness to show love to people as well as learning to humble myself down.

So....... i hope you guys will be with me on this wonderful journey as we discover GOD's meaning of love and living it out!
