update again....

hey all....i'm really sorry for all the late updates and stuff...i've been really busy and all...i'm workin my butt off here lar..lol i've got research and stuff to do for my tutorials and oso 2 presentations which is due week 4...give me a break!!! hahz xD
but yeah...besides all these,my life is pretty good^^ i'm really startin to adapt to my surroundings and statrting to make loads of frens..but of coz..i still miss all my frens bak in malaysia like crazy...not to missed out is of coz my family lar..xp
frens u hv in uni is really diff from the frens that we have in high school..i think tht's enuf said..lol but yeah,i really thx GOD for blessing me abundantly, especially from the frens aspect..i've been hangin out with my church frens over here alot and i feel so 'home'?? lol..i think tht is the suitable word to describe it. australia hv really made me into a nerd man..i've nvr been so hardworking in my whole study life wei..maybe becoz over here everything is accounted for ure final marks and as well as everything is independant(independant learner mar...), u tend to get stressed out for all the due dates and stuff..especially when u hv in ure mind lik the heaps of marks tht ure gonna lose if u don submit the assignments tht is needed..
besides tht,we hv tutorials tht u need to prepare early before hand so tht u wont look like a fool in the class..i bet my frens wouldnt be able to imagine me preparing for a class tht i'm heading for the next day..hahz xD but yes!!! i do prepare for all my tutorial class before i go...coz......its accountable for 10-15% of ure total mark in the finals!!! and the great thing is.... i hv 3 tutorials on wednesday itself!!! imagine if i was too lazy for a paricular week and i hv to get everything ready on tues nite..wow!!! tht's gonna kill u man.,..i've tried preparing until 1.30 in the morning and i'm still not finish wit it!!! AUSTRALIAN LEGAL SYSTEM wei...thts the killin part! the tutor would actually come to each student and check their preparation..if u don prepare..'CHENG CHENG CHENG'... URE DOOM!
soooo...if u guys are still complainin bak home by college and all..u shud feel lucky coz if u don do ure assignments and all,ure participation mark dont count!!ohyeah....and one fussy thing tht i'm not used to it here is for every essay or presentation tht u write/do, u MUST referance and u must do it in a particular way..if u FORGOT or u din noe, u'll be accused wit plagiarism!!!! and ure gonna meet the school dean den..happie for u!! haiz..soi'm actually quite stucked up wit learning to referance and stuff..there even hv a photostat quota here!!! only 10%/ 1 chapter onli..lol unlike in malaysia, nobody gives a care of whether u photostated the whole book or u buy the photostated version..lol
alrite...moving away from studies......i don wanna be labelled as a nerd lar..hahahahahahahah
culture here is great and its very open..i mean ure free to do anything u wan and ure held accountable for ureself onli..nobody actually cares bout wat u do..lol but becoz of this open-ness as well,u'll tend to see alot of interesting stuff..lik wat i've told u guys in the last post, there's this 'club' in the uni for people to get drunk and stuff..from time to time they organise party and stuff..laz party was a themed party..beach party..so imagine evreyone in their finest beach wear, comin to uni to PARTAAAAAAAY!!!!! lol..
and i think theres a foam party coming up as well..^^ but sorry people..18 and above!! woohoo!!! hahz xD i'm legally qualified!xp but i've never been to one..hahz xD BOO~~~~~~ i'm a good boy!!lol
yeah..but i think i prefer spendin time wit my frens, hangin out in icey ice(a shop tht sells something lik flavoured ice kacang) and oso goin to the beach..^^ i'm gettin sunburned lik everytime i go to the beach..lol
but its realli fun to juz sit by the sea, enjoy the windy breeze, the cold sand under ure butt and the cold waves tht hit the shore..the best would be on last wednesday,i went to freo beach wit my frens and we were just sittin there, enjoyin sunset and chattin..its soooooooooooooo nice!!!!
i really hope my frens can come over to join me..lol (indication for u guys to come)
ohyeah ohyeah!!! i went to a MAMAK!!!!!!!!!! lol.. the place is call makan-makan in vic park..its a HIGH CLASS mamak man...really the posh-est mamak tht i've been to!!! its lik starbucks but actually its a mamak..hahz xD
they hv lik music pumpin on,fancy cafe chairs and tables fro youngsters to sit and yum cha..lol reminds me sooooooooo much of the times where i went to mamak bak in malaysia!! they hv horlick ice!!!! sirup ice!!!! roti canai!!! teh tarik!!!! maggi goreng!!!! nasi briani!!! nasi kandar!!!!! murtabak!!!lol.. sorry for the sudden burst of excitement lar..xp hard to find those over here k?lol..
ohyeah..i had nasi briani..its not bad...lol$8.90..normal price for a plate of rice over here lar..but the maggi goreng is crap!!! sort of tasted lik those economical noodles tht u hv from those chinese kopitiam,it juz tasted abit better..>.<>
ready for the price???
*drum roll..................*
$7.90 for a piece of roti canai and $3 for teh tarik!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
man!!! with tht amount of money,i can eat roti canai until i puke in malaysia!!!!!
but anyway, its something to remind me of malaysia..hahz xD
i'm really sorry for the dull word post..i'm havin diff in postin up the pics...will do it as soon as possible k??
i promise!lol..
ths it for now..
toodles~

a heart warming story..let us all hv a big heart to make this world a better place^^

In Phoenix, Arizona ,a 26-year-old mother stared down
at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukemia.
Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination.Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up & fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible..The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dream to come true. She took her son' s hand and asked,'Billy, did you ever think about what you wantedto be once you grew up?Did you ever dream and wish what you woulddo with your life?'Mommy, 'I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up.'Mom smiled back and said, 'Let's see if we canmake your wish come true.'Later that day she went to her local fireDepartment in Phoenix, Arizona , where she met Fireman Bob, who had a heart as big as Phoenix She explained her son's final wish and asked if it might be possible to give her 6 year-old son a ride around the block on a fire engineFireman Bob said, 'Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary Fireman for the whole day.He can come down to the fire station, eat with us,go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! And if you'll give us his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform for him, with a real fire hat - not a toy -- one-with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots.''They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix ,so we can get them fast.'
Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his uniform and escorted him from his hospital bed t o the waiting hook and ladder truck.Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help steer it back to the fire station. He was in heaven. There were three fire calls in Phoenix that dayand Billy got to go out on all three calls. He rode in the different fire engines, the Paramedic's' van,and even the fire chief's car.He was also video taped for the local news program.Having his dream come true, with all the love and attention that was lavished upon him, so deeply touched Billy, that he lived three months longer than any doctor thought possible. One night all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically and the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept - that no one should die alone, began to call the family members to the hospital. Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a Fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition. The chief replied, 'We can do better than that. We'll be there in five minutes.. Will you please do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming and see thelights flashing, will you announce over the PA system that there is not a fire?''It's the department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And willyou open the window to his room?'About five minutes later ahook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to Billy's third floor open window--------16 fire-fighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's roomWith his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they LOVED him.
With His dying breath,Billy looked up at the fire chief and said,'Chief, am I really a fireman now?''Billy, you are, andThe Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand,' the chief said with those words, Billy smiled and said,'I know, He'sBeen holding my hand all day, and The angels have been Singing..'He closed his eyes one last time.
